Swarovski-Encrusted Bathtub

rich people - Buy This $200,000 Swarovski-Encrusted Bathtub and Cackle at Your Unfathomable Wealth

$227.995 Swarovski-Encrusted Bathtub and Cackle at Your Unfathomable Wealth

Heiress and professional rich person Tamara Ecclestone is very much wants to be like Marie Antoinette. Last year, she spent £1m on a crystal bathtub sourced from the Amazon. From the AMAZON. Could you be any more of an fabulous colonialist when you send a batch of your minions to swoop into the Amazon and seize precious chunks of crystal just so you can bathe in them?! That is some impressive shit.
Worry not, desirous reader: This absurdist luxury is not just for the Ecclestones of the world. You too can spend stupid amounts of money on a vesicle for you to soak and contemplate your life in whilst listening to to Mariah Carey and sipping on Dom Perignon. Catchpole & Rye has revealed a Swarovski Crystal-encrusted bathtub called "Crystal Bateau" (that's French for "You're a Moron"). It's not an exact replica of Tamara's giant, glittering water-holder, but this bathtub did take over 200 hours to create, with thousands of individually placed crystals applied with the end of a pencil covered in tac. The bathtub artisans all suffered at the very least some mild injuries from the amount of times they undoubtedly rolled their eyes while placing their three-thousandth Swarovski crystal on the side of the bathtub, holding their heads in their hands as they drew baths in their sad and cracked normal tubs after a hard day's work. That's probably why the tub costs £150,000 ($227,955 on this side of the pond).
Catchpole and Rye's Managing Director Tony O'Donnell says, "It was to do something exotic. We did a job for a princess in the Middle East and she was very much into her bling, and that's where the idea stems from."
Well, unnamed princess, thank you for inspiring this monstrosity of material desire. Sure, the majority of humanity lives on less than $10 a day, but this is super cute. I love a good sparkle bath!

Luxury Phone

Aesir Copenhagen Luxury Phone by Yves Behar

The luxury phone brand Aesir Copenhagen has revealed a stunning new handset designed by Yves Behar.  In the age of do-it-all smart phone, the +YvesBehar by Aesir Copenhagen might seem a bit one-dimensional at first glance.  From beginning to end, it is a phone– no camera or GPS, no Gmail or Angry Birds, just a device that provides stunning clarity and tactility in a luxury class design.
Yves Behar has his own philosophy on mobile communication, one that is focused on longevity and uniquity in a world of disposable plastic.  As the iPhone is replaced annually by a more advanced product, as two-year mobile contracts mandate mobile replacement, the +YvesBehar by Aesir Copenhagen is a lasting, luxurious item of timeless-yet-basic utility.  Think of the world of luxury watches, where skilled craftsmen forge small-scale feats of engineering that are worn on the wrist for decades.  Behar’s phone is to have the same value, a point of permanence in the pockets of those who desire only simplicity and style.
The Yves Behar Aesir Copenhagen phone is available in either 18 carat yellow gold or a fine stainless steel with a ceramic top.  A timeless phone will require a timeless sum, however, as the 18 carat gold version will retail at nearly $59,000 USD.  While we respect Behar’s inspiration here, we might just stick to the do-it-all disposable route at least until we’ve made our first million.  [via acquire]

2013 Season In Celebrity's Wardrobes - Monochrome

2013 Season In Celebrity's Wardrobes - Monochrome

What’s black, white and chic all over? The monochrome trend, that's what. Make sure there are no grey areas in your wardrobe with our pick of the best mono fashion buys.
As clear as Black and White - monochrome is in for 2013 as all the huge designer's catwalks were awash with contrasting ensembles. Keep it chic and modern with blazers and color blocked two-pieces or go for a 1960's vibe inspired by Edie Sedgwick with simple dresses. Perfect the art of contrast in Cherry Cherry's Clean Cut Monochrome collection.
Black and white monochrome looks are one of the few real trends in women's fashion. Monochrome is one of the simplest, most chic of looks to work whatever the year. Monochrome never fails to gain attention when done well.

Monochrome is easy for creating a fairly effortless travel wardrobe, and it can be given the lift of the moment with a bright accessory taken straight from the latest color trend chart. If color blocking with paintbox colors is not for you, then go monochrome.
Think neutral. Think black with white. Think of alternating all black or all white garments with the opposite contrasting accessories. Accessories can be the key to getting this look so easily.

This fashion look is always smart, crisp and frequently fun as designers come up with new ways of reworking the yin and yang of black and white

The monochrome look also lends itself to the nautical clothes trend which designers celebrate every year. Whilst nautical clothes are also a true trend for the modern woman, the underlying trend is the simplicity of monochrome. This dark against light, black with white monochrome fashion look is classic, and the perfect choice right now for anyone with a financially critical wardrobe budget.

Monochrome is capsule dressing and will stretch that tight budget. Long after colored garments have faded into last season's oblivion you  Get monochrome runway dresses at K Jeneal.com
